“Per Amore o per Forza” (4th edition, the first one in 2008) is a project to support the young theatrical scene, created by T.T.B. Teatro Tascabile di Bergamo in partnership with Comune di Bergamo-Assessorato alle Politiche Giovanili. It is composed by various actions aimed at putting performances on stage and giving learning and formation opportunities.
Heart of the “Per amore o per forza” project is the theatre marathon, a great chance fro people who love theatre and consider it a language always capable of renovating itself. The pedagogical section of every “Per amore o per forza” edition is by Prof. Franco Ruffini, 20th century theatre specialist (Università degli Studi Roma Tre).

Q: Could you tell us briefly one of the possible meanings of doing theatre today?
A: What would be the point of cooking in a world where food is replaced by a pill?
What’s the point of doing theatre in a world where the hunger for entertainment is replaced by not one but many pills?
Knowing the terms of the challenge is the first step towards facing it. And winning it.
